Baltimore Ravens
Odds
Next game odds, playoff outlook, schedule and Super Bowl history.
For the first time in eighteen years, the Ravens have a new head coach. John Harbaugh was fired in January 2026 after a season that ended 8-9 and out of the playoffs. The talent did not leave with him. Lamar Jackson is still here, and so are the pieces around him.
This is not a rebuild. It is a reset at the top of a roster that is still one of the most talented in the conference. Jesse Minter inherits a two-time MVP and a brief that has not changed in years. Win in January. The regular season was never the problem in Baltimore.
Lucky Rebel’s Editor Top Pick
Lamar Jackson is the whole thing. Two-time MVP, and even in a down, injury-hit 2025 he led the NFL at 13.3 yards per completion. He turned 29 and played just 13 games, slowed by hamstring and back trouble. Healthy, he is a top-three quarterback and the reason every Ravens market moves. The season turns on his availability.

| Baltimore Ravens to make the playoffs | -370 | +260 |
Our call: they make it. At -370 to make the playoffs, the market backs the bounce-back, and the logic holds. Baltimore was the rare 8-9 team with a roster built to win now. Derrick Henry, Kyle Hamilton, Roquan Smith and Zay Flowers are all still here, and Jackson sets a high floor when he is upright. Pundits have tagged the Ravens as the most likely 2025 non-playoff team to return to the bracket. A healthy Lamar makes that close to a formality.
A new voice after eighteen years
Harbaugh spent eighteen seasons in Baltimore and went 180-113 with a Super Bowl, but seven years with Jackson never produced a second one, and a missed playoff in 2025 ended the run. Owner Steve Bisciotti made the change. General manager Eric DeCosta interviewed sixteen candidates before landing on Jesse Minter.
Minter is a first-time head coach but a known quantity in Baltimore. He was a defensive assistant under Harbaugh from 2017 to 2020 before following Jim Harbaugh to Michigan and then the Chargers, where his defenses finished top-ten by DVOA two years running. At 42, he was one of the most sought-after names on the market.
Declan Doyle, Anthony Weaver and the new staff
Minter hired Declan Doyle from Chicago to run the offense, a young coordinator tasked with getting more out of Jackson and the skill group. He brought in Anthony Weaver as defensive coordinator, a play-caller fresh off two seasons running Miami’s defense.
Jackson has called the new staff a breath of fresh air. After eighteen years of one voice, new ones were always going to land that way. The early reviews out of Baltimore on Minter and Doyle have been positive.
The Ravens playing staff
The roster is the selling point. Derrick Henry still carries the run game. Kyle Hamilton and Roquan Smith headline a defense with real teeth. Zay Flowers gives Jackson a number one receiver, and Tyler Linderbaum anchors the line. This is not a group that needs rebuilding.
What it needs is health and January results. Baltimore won plenty of regular-season games under the old regime and came up short when it mattered. Minter’s entire mandate is to change the second part, and the talent to do it is already on the roster.
