Tennessee Titans
Odds
Next game odds, playoff outlook, schedule and Super Bowl history.
Tennessee is starting over again, but this time with a number one pick to build on. Cam Ward was the top selection in 2025 and started all seventeen games as a rookie on a 3-14 team. The roster around him was not ready. The coaching was not right. Both got addressed this winter.
Robert Saleh takes over as head coach after the Brian Callahan experiment ended in October. He brought in Brian Daboll to run the offense and develop Ward. The bet is simple. Get the quarterback right, fix the defense, and the wins follow.
Lucky Rebel’s Editor Top Pick
Cam Ward is the franchise. The number one pick threw for 3,169 yards as a rookie behind a line that allowed 55 sacks, flashing the talent that made him the top selection. Now he has Brian Daboll, the coach who developed Josh Allen in Buffalo and won Coach of the Year with the Giants. The entire 2026 plan is Ward’s second-year leap.

| Tennessee Titans to make the playoffs | +320 | -475 |
Our call: they miss it. At +320 to make the playoffs and -475 to miss, the market sees a rebuild that is not finished. The Titans went 3-14 and ranked 28th in points allowed in 2025. New coach, new coordinators, a young quarterback being reset to fundamentals. Saleh has described treating 2026 as Ward’s real rookie year. The arrow points up, but up takes time, and the playoff math says not yet.
Robert Saleh takes over a rebuild
The Titans fired Brian Callahan in October 2025 after a 1-5 start, with Mike McCoy steering the rest of a 3-14 season on an interim basis. Robert Saleh got the permanent job, the former Jets head coach and two-time 49ers defensive coordinator, hired to bring a defensive identity to a unit that finished 28th in points allowed.
Saleh is taking the slow road with Ward, treating the second-year quarterback almost like a rookie and rebuilding his fundamentals. He plans to keep scores low and give his young passer room to grow. That is the realistic path for a team in this spot.
Brian Daboll, Gus Bradley and an experienced staff
The headline hire was Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator. Daboll spent four years as the Giants head coach and won Coach of the Year in 2022, but his reputation was built developing quarterbacks, Josh Allen chief among them in Buffalo. His job in Tennessee is to do the same for Ward.
Gus Bradley runs the defense as coordinator, with John Fassel on special teams. It is a staff stacked with former head coaches and long NFL resumes. For a young roster, that experience is the point.
The Titans playing staff
The team rebuilt the receiver room around Ward, adding Wan’Dale Robinson, who topped 1,000 yards under Daboll in New York, alongside rookie additions. Chimere Dike returns after leading the NFL in all-purpose yards and making the Pro Bowl as a rookie.
The defense is where Saleh earns his money. It was the worst part of a 3-14 team, and fixing it is the faster route to respectability. For 2026, the job is development and a foundation, not a playoff push.
