Seattle Seahawks
Super Bowl History
Next game odds, season schedule, playoff path, Super Bowl history.
I am writing this one with the ink barely dry, and I am glad I get to. February 8, 2026, Levi’s Stadium, the Seahawks beating the Patriots 29-13 to win Super Bowl LX. For eleven years Seattle carried the worst kind of Super Bowl memory, the one where you do not lose the game so much as throw it away. This was the night they finally buried it. Kenneth Walker ran for the MVP and the defense did the rest.
Four trips, and the throw that needed avenging
Seattle has now been to four Super Bowls and won two. They lost XL to the Steelers. They won XLVIII in a 43-8 demolition of Denver, the Legion of Boom at its peak. Then came Super Bowl XLIX, February 2015, the goal line, a yard from a second straight title, and a pass thrown instead of handed off that the Patriots intercepted. That play defined a franchise for a decade.
The redemption, fresh off the field
In LX it was Seattle forcing the turnovers for once. Devon Witherspoon strip-sacked Drake Maye, Uchenna Nwosu scooped it and ran it back, and the party started. The team that lost a title on one bad decision won one on takeaways. Seahawks fans, you waited eleven years to flip that story, and you just did it. Watching a haunted franchise exorcise its ghost is one of the better things this sport offers. You got yours back.
